05. Working (Wo)mxn’s Club
Through hosting a workshop that was designed to enable female creatives to reflect on their sense of belonging in the industry, we were able to create a safe space. The workshop took elements from working men’s clubs and celebrates collaboration within the industry.
As a result, a journal paired with a “Work in Progress” book including extracts from the The Boat by Paula Scher and Graphic Design in Conservative Times was designed to continue the conversation across industry designers.

Working (Wo)mxn’s Club is a collaborative research space designed to promote conversation about female inclusivity in the graphic design industry, as well as giving a platform for university students to converse with industry professionals.
