01. Remeiku
In the 1980’s, in Tokyo’s Harajuku district, fashion was predominantly used by the local youngsters who would occupy the streets dressed in unique and colourful outfits - sending out a message that they don’t give a damn about mainstream fashion and that they can dress as they wish. Nowadays, Harajuku fashion stands for many different things and whilst trends come and go, Harajuku style remains.

03. Off the Rack
The fashion industry is facing expanding global scrutiny due to its adoption of quicker garment life cycles and consumerism, and the negative impacts they deliver. Plagued by these impacts, the fashion industry is now the fourth largest polluting industry in the world.
Digital fashion can be a tool that reduces garment production whilst also playing into the technology-based future that society is heading towards. It allows people to purchase virtual clothing they can wear in digital photographs or online gaming skins, without the obstacle of going into a physical store.

04. Matter of Memory
Memories distinguish the relationship between the soul and the body. The articulation of time: past, present and future is made by the union of the soul and the body. Since 1816, a still camera has provided the ability to take one image of one moment in the world - creating an individual memory.
Through constructing and collaging a new memory that never existed in the world, but in a fragmented way, existed in my mind, the articulation of time becomes unclear.
Photography and Art Direction, 2022
Matter of Memory is a photographic series depicting the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic memories. “The pure present is an ungraspable advance of the past devouring the future. In truth, all sensation is already memory.” - Henri Bergson, Matter and Memory.
